Happiness at Work Week 23rd – 27th September

Happiness at Work Week 23rd – 27th September

Today, Monday is the first day of Happiness at Work Week. Happiness at work should be a top priority for all businesses. Happy employees at work are a huge advantage over unhappy ones. Happy employees tend to be more productive, flexible, resilient, creative and can make your customers happier and ultimately work better with their fellow colleagues.

Wouldn’t we all want happy employees?

So, let’s work together to make Happiness at work the rule and not the exception, not that everybody has to be happy all the time, or the single responsibility of the organisation…. Happiness at Work is a Shared Responsibility.

Happiness at Work Week and to try and make it an ongoing rule rather than just during this week.

How should you encourage happiness at work? Even with no training, business owners can bring happiness into their workplaces. Here are some suggestions: -

·         Offer flexibility at work

·         Provide employees with clear goals

·         Promote creativity

·         Recognize your employees

·         Encourage sharing of ideas and avoid gossip

·         Embrace diversity and equality

·         Share your businesses history.
